An Invitation to Play is made of carefully selected items that would encourage exploration and creativity in your Little One.
The use of beautiful, natural and found objects to provide sensory input for small children, sparks their curiosity and delights their senses.
Seasonal objects in a basket, or even Loose parts can elicit creative play, pattern making & learning.
Children learn through play - setting up an Invitation to Play is an opportunity that let's them bump into the learning!

If your Little One has a passion for Dinosaurs, or Farm Animals, Mermaids or Fairies, then no doubt you already have a collection of toys in their favourite theme. A felted playscape makes a perfect backdrop for Small World Play and brings their imaginative play to life!
Used as a 'home base' for their themed toys, a flat playscape can help to keep play contained and can also be useful to encourage packing up at the end of play time - eg "It's time to pack away and we need to make sure all the dinosaurs are on their Swamp Mat"

I have utilised a felted playscape both at home and in my classrooms to set the base for my Seasonal table. It's a lovely way to encourage your Little One to be mindful about the seasonal treasures they might find and collect.
A felted playscape makes a beautiful backdrop and facilitates a reverence for the seasons and the wonder of Mother Nature.

Always inspired by Mother Nature, some of our wet felted pieces are destined to be hung as Art.
Since little fingers love to pick and explore the natural fibres, our playscape are all finished with this in mind - But sometimes the wet felting process results in such a gorgeous textural piece, I just know it's meant for the wall!
Wall hangings can be custom made to suit your colour schemes and themes. They can be round or rectangular. Let us know what works for you.
